"If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day." — E.B. White

The first snow is always fun for the kids, even if it falls a day or two before Halloween.

We lived in northern Virginia for three years in the late 80's. We moved there from Houston, Texas so snow in the winter was a big treat for my kids. We always had at least one snow before Thanksgiving and it even snowed one Halloween while we were there. Snow mostly meant more work and slower commutes for us grownups, but the kids loved it!

Snow! I love it but not in October. Brr. I loved the pictures of your house. I will fight you for those black cats. You pick the time.
All is well here. Well not me, I have a sore throat, but life is good my friend. Wish I could answer you to email. This will have to do :)
Have a great Sunday!!

All of the pictures are so great! It's fun to see your kiddos again and to see your comment on my blog. I wasn't sure where you had disappeared to! Hope we can make it out to your farm one of these years... :)
