"If the world were merely seductive, that would be easy. If it were merely challenging, that would be no problem. But I arise in the morning torn between a desire to improve the world and a desire to enjoy the world. This makes it hard to plan the day." — E.B. White

Hugs n Kisses

Happy Valentines Day to all my sweet bloggie buds!
We always have lots of hugs n kisses round here...

But now we have an extra special sort ~ a pony!
Meet "Hugs n Kisses."
Doncha just LOVE her name?! <3

She's been generously loaned to us for trial
and we're hoping she'll work out and join our family for eva!

Just in case, we also have more hugs n kisses, like these.

Brownies waiting to be dusted with powdered sugar.

 Crayons made with Ikea molds.

Hearts made with Ikea's version of Perler beads.
These were sent to our LOVEly Great Aunt and had to be labeled by their artists! ;-)

And now our table is ready for plates of heart shaped pancakes...
Soooo sorry bout the awful pics.

Yup, we're feelin' the love.
Hope you are too!!!
xoxo
Leslie

Hope the pony works out for your family. That's pretty awesome that you have it on trial!

Love all of your Valentine wishes...especially the heart crayons. The closest IKEA store to us is two hours away. Suppose I could go online?

Happy Valentine's Day to you, Leslie!

So many cute ideas....You are so creative!
Our nearest IKEA store is 130 miles away, guess I'll have to wait until we make another trip to dallas to explore all of their nice goodies.

Hope everything works out with the Pony...What a lovely name!

Hope you enjoy a wonderful Valentines Day!
Blessings,
shug

A pony? I always wanted a pony. So cute!
Actually, at the moment I'm eyeing the brownies. It's past my bedtime but I need a chocolate fix.
Looks like you had a wonderful Day of Love!

Oh that pony is just so cute! Isn't Ikea just great? Ours is so far away but I just always find the best inexpensive crafty things and organizing things there!
I am a new visitor and follower...

We had high 60's today...loved the sunshine! I'll look forward to going through the spring/summer seasons with you...I hope you post pictures of your gardens. I LOVE to be outside, so I'm looking forward to weather warm enough (on a consistent basis) to be out there working in the flowers! :-)

Oh coming to comment about your comment on my mugs...oh we didn't throw out the sentimental mugs..I have mugs for each of my kids that are Dear God mugs..they are still there. But my goodness....the ones that left were years old and so faded! I made my married son and his wife mugs with their pictures all on them...they love them. So a mixture of both is really great...since we have never had matching ones it seems to be a big deal right now.
It has been funny to see the comments...mugs are really a male thing and who knew so much sentiment attached to them...oh the pot holder post will be up next Thursday.
Have an awesome weekend...I know it is always fun in your house...I wish I lived closer to come knocking at your door.
Hugs,
Janette
